RootX: The Cost-cutting solution to root intrusion

Imagine eliminating pipeline root intrusion in sewer and storm lines. Imagine doing it with existing crews and equipment, using a product that's registered in all 50 states. EPA registration #68464.1.

RootX foam kills roots.

The patented foaming herbicidal formula kills roots and inhibits regrowth - even at the top of the pipe, where 90% of intrusion occurs. Used alone - or after mechanical root-cutting when blockage is severe - RootX kills roots so that they naturally begin to decay within 12 weeks. Any remaining roots are stunted. Nine months later, roots are virtually gone and the pipe is at full capacity. Contrast that with an untreated pipe - roots grow back thicker and more aggressively within nine months, causing blockages again.

Add RootX into your maintenance program.

By including RootX in your maintenance program, you can eliminate blockages and overflows caused by roots. You'll reduce labor costs by using RootX. Treatment takes under 30 minutes - any crew member can do it. Applied into a manhole or vault, RootX saves man hours and money. RootX can be applied directly from the package or with the FDU 100 (Foam Dispersal Unit) which attaches to any jetter hose like a nozzle. These simple application procedures allow for root control where and when it's needed.

Unlike some treatments, RootX is registered in all 50 states for use in sanitary and storm pipes. It's non-causticand non-fumigating. Surrounding vegetation is unharmed. RootX also enhances bacterial growth, creating rapid decay of invading tree roots.

The RootX formula can make your sewer crews root control professionals! Can you imagine using any other root control method?

RootX Municipal Guarantee

RootX will warranty that any line treated with RootX will not plug or backup due to a living tree root obstruction for a period of 24 months after application! Application must be made in accordance with directions for use. This guarantee applies only to pipeline stoppages caused by live tree roots. It does not apply to stoppages caused by grease or other foreign matter; flat, collapsed, or deformed pipes; or flooding caused by a surcharged or plugged pipe downstream from the treated section.

If within 24 months a blockage occurs due to live tree roots in a treated section, RootX will replace the amount of product used for that section of pipe at no cost. This warranty covers the RootX product only and will not compensate for service time or labor.
